Cuando hicimos esas preguntas a los participantes de un taller de trabajo en Myanmar rural, una persona contest\u00f3: \u201cNo tenemos el poder para decidir eso\u201d.<\/p>\n

Con demasiada frecuencia, sentimos que nos han quitado el poder de tomar decisiones sobre el futuro de nuestras comunidades. Pero no tenemos que sentirnos impotentes. Hay pasos que podemos dar para reclamar el control e identificar nuestras propias prioridades de desarrollo en nuestras comunidades. Las ideas y la experiencia comunitarias pueden abrir el camino hacia un desarrollo que respete a las personas y proteja el medio ambiente.<\/p>\n

Llevar adelante investigaci\u00f3n comunitaria es una manera efectiva de que las comunidades respondan a los desaf\u00edos del desarrollo y hagan o\u00edr sus prioridades de desarrollo.<\/p>\n
