Para que el sistema interamericano de derechos humanos reconozca, proteja y cumpla adecuadamente con los derechos humanos de las mujeres ind\u00edgenas es necesario que dichas mujeres participen en el sistema, hagan o\u00edr sus voces y den a conocer sus historias con todas sus complejidades.<\/p>\n

Este\u00a0manual, que contiene una serie de notas informativas que explican los diferentes aspectos del sistema interamericano, est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado con el fin de ayudar a las mujeres ind\u00edgenas y sus defensores a utilizar el sistema de manera efectiva.\u00a0 Adem\u00e1s, es el resultado de un esfuerzo colectivo de mujeres ind\u00edgenas de Argentina, Costa Rica, Chile, Canad\u00e1, Colombia, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, M\u00e9xico, Nicaragua, Panam\u00e1 y Paraguay, entre otros pa\u00edses. Estas mujeres trabajaron juntas por muchos a\u00f1os para crear conciencia acerca de las oportunidades que ofrece el sistema interamericano de derechos humanos en relaci\u00f3n con los derechos de las mujeres ind\u00edgenas.<\/p>\n
